Returns and Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
This policy explains how Exit Mode Ltd handles returns, cancellations and refunds for purchases made directly on exit-mode.com. Read it alongside our Terms and Conditions and the offer shown when you purchased.
1. Our products are digital
Our books are PDF downloads. The Template Vault contains digital templates and guides, the Toolkit provides online tools and resources, and the Academy is an online course with included digital resources. We do not ship physical products for these purchases.
There is nothing to post back and no return shipping or restocking fee. If a refund is approved, access to the refunded product may be removed and you must stop using its content and delete downloaded copies, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires otherwise.
2. Books, Template Vault and Toolkit
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided your use has not gone materially beyond reasonable evaluation. This is our voluntary refund policy, not a limit on any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
We review requests in context. Extensive copying, downloading an entire library for continued use, account sharing or other misuse may affect eligibility under this voluntary policy. Downloading or opening a product does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
After 14 days, a change-of-mind request is not normally covered by this voluntary policy, unless a more generous guarantee applied to your purchase. Faults, missing access, products not as described and statutory cancellation rights are considered separately, as explained below.
3. Academy 30-day guarantee
If you complete the first two Academy modules and do not find them valuable, contact us within the first 30 days of your Academy purchase to request a full refund. This applies whether you paid once or chose the fixed payment plan.
For an approved full refund on a payment plan, we refund the amounts paid towards that Academy purchase and cancel its remaining instalments. Resources included only through the refunded Academy purchase are no longer available through that purchase. Separately purchased products are not automatically refunded or cancelled.
This guarantee is additional to your statutory rights. You do not have to complete two modules to exercise a statutory remedy or a cancellation right that applies independently of the guarantee.
4. Academy payment plans and cancellation
The Academy payment plan is a fixed purchase paid by instalments, not a monthly subscription that renews indefinitely. Simply stopping a card payment or not using the course does not by itself cancel the purchase or remaining instalments.
If you want to cancel or believe you qualify for a refund, contact us so we can consider your request under this policy and applicable law. Nothing in this section restricts a legal right to cancel. Approved cancellation or refund requests are handled according to the rights and terms that apply to the purchase.
5. Consumer cancellation rights and immediate digital access
If you buy as a consumer, you may have a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right. For UK distance contracts this is generally 14 days, subject to the rules and exceptions for the content or service purchased. Rights may differ if you purchase for business purposes or live in another jurisdiction.
For digital content supplied immediately, the UK cancellation right can end when supply begins only where the required conditions are met, including your express consent to immediate supply, acknowledgment that you will lose that cancellation right, and the required contract confirmation. We do not treat this policy, a purchase alone or a download alone as evidence that all those conditions have been met.
If a statutory right to cancel applies, you do not need to give a reason. Our voluntary evaluation limits and Academy module-completion condition do not override it. Mandatory rights in your country remain unaffected.
6. Problems with access, faulty content or an incorrect charge
If a download is missing, a file will not open, a tool does not work as described, or you cannot access a product you bought, email us with the details. We will investigate and help resolve the problem.
Where applicable law gives you a remedy for faulty or misdescribed content or services, that may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances. These rights are not limited to our voluntary 14-day request window or the Academy guarantee.
If you believe you were charged twice or a payment was unauthorised, tell us promptly so we can investigate. You can request help and raise a refund request at the same time.
7. How to request a refund or cancellation
Email ea@adamjgraham.com. Please include:
- Your name and the email address used at checkout.
- The product and approximate purchase date.
- Your order reference or receipt, if available.
- Whether you are requesting a refund, exercising a cancellation right or reporting a problem.
A short explanation helps us investigate an access issue or voluntary guarantee request, but you do not need to give a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right. Do not send passwords or full card details.
You can use the wording below if helpful. Using this template is optional; any clear cancellation notice is sufficient where you have a right to cancel.
To Exit Mode Ltd, ea@adamjgraham.com: I give notice that I wish to cancel my purchase of [product], ordered on [date]. My name is [name], my address is [address], and my checkout email is [email]. Date of notice: [date].
8. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are normally sent to the original payment method. We submit approved refunds without undue delay and within 14 days of approval, or sooner where applicable law requires. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit.
We do not charge a refund processing fee. Where a full refund is due, we refund the amount paid to us for the affected purchase. Currency conversion differences or charges separately applied by your bank or payment provider are governed by that provider.
9. Purchases elsewhere and separate services
If you bought through another seller or marketplace, contact that seller first so the purchase can be handled under its process and any applicable rights. Separately agreed consulting, Accelerator or bespoke service engagements are governed by their own contract and any applicable mandatory rights; this digital-product policy does not replace those terms.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. A more generous product-specific guarantee offered when you purchased remains applicable. Contact ea@adamjgraham.com if you need help understanding which part of this policy applies to your order.
